Superposition is a site-responsive installation developed within a former retail building in Corsicana, Texas. Composed primarily of architectural forms, the work engages the scale and history of the space through material, light, and temporal change. The sculptural objects are activated by natural light entering through the second-floor windows.
As daylight shifts, shadows extend and contract across the walls and floor, creating a time-based experience that unfolds throughout the day. Rather than relying on artificial illumination, the work uses ambient light as a primary material, allowing the site itself to shape the visual outcome.
