2022

My work often considers home and belonging, and the ways we move through personal, communal, and institutional spaces. Presented in Places of Freedom and Containment, curated by Charlotta Kotik, these two installations place an Egyptian cityscape in dialogue with an exploded view of an American home and dining table.

2021

Pattern Language explores the relationships between institutions, urban planning, and the domestic sphere. By inverting familiar architectural forms, the installations invite the viewer to reconsider how power is embedded in the built environment and how those structures shape our sense of home, belonging, and agency.

Transient, solo exhibition

2019-20

Transient explores issues related to immigration, belonging, and displacement. An ongoing immersive sound/sculpture project staged in intimate locations, Transient investigates what it means to feel (or not feel) a sense of belonging in relation to space due to ethnicity or the language one speaks.
